Vascular Specialist
Dr. Vyas specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and conditions affecting the arteries and veins. He received advanced training under the renowned surgeons at the Cleveland Clinic, where he completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship. His surgical expertise includes complex aortic procedures, encompassing both endovascular and open aortic surgeries.
He has a particular interest in carotid artery disease and is skilled in both open carotid endarterectomy and the TCAR hybrid procedure. Dr. Vyas is especially passionate about amputation prevention and limb salvage. He offers advanced care through both open surgical techniques and complex endovascular interventions, utilizing the latest minimally invasive technologies.
Dr. Vyas practices the full scope of vascular surgery, including hemodialysis access, thoracic outlet syndrome, popliteal artery entrapment syndrome, mesenteric and renal artery disease, and venous conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism.
He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia/VCU School of Medicine, completed his General Surgery Internship at Dartmouth Health, and went on to complete his General Surgery Residency at Christiana Care. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery in both Vascular and General Surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Vyas enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies include sailing, kayaking, camping, traveling, and exploring different cuisines. He is also an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys football, basketball, swimming, tennis, and golf. Dr. Vyas is deeply committed to serving his community and is always willing to assist in patient care. His goal is to provide personalized, compassionate treatment for every individual he serves.
