James W. Rawles, III, M.D.

Vascular Specialist

Dr. James Rawles earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his General Surgery Residency at UNC School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Utah.

As a board-certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Rawles offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with diseases of the circulatory system. A few of his clinical interests include aortic and peripheral arterial aneurysms, arterial occlusive disease, limb salvage, venous insufficiency, venous occlusive disease, and dialysis access.

When he is not caring for his patients, Dr. Rawles enjoys designing and manufacturing surfboards, welding and metal work, graphic design, video editing, astronomy, astrophotography, hunting, fishing, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, and boating.
