Sara Edeiken, MD

Vascular Specialist

As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Sara Edeiken is dedicated to diagnosing and treating a wide range of circulatory system conditions. Her expertise includes carotid artery disease, aneurysms, dialysis access, peripheral artery disease, and venous disease, including varicose veins. Dr. Edeiken’s clinical and academic interests focus on carotid artery disease, dialysis access, limb salvage, teaching, and healthcare economics.

Dr. Edeiken earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her General Surgery Residency at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Chattanooga. She went on to complete her Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Albany Medical Center. In addition, she holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery in both Vascular and General Surgery. Dr. Edeiken is also a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, cooking, and exploring new cuisines.
