Siddharth Bhende, MD, FACS

Dr. Bhende earned his medical degree, with highest honors, from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, in 2003 after receiving his bachelor of science degree in biology at the University of California in Riverside, CA, in 1999. He was General Surgery Resident of the Year at Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, PA, in 2008 while performing his residency. Dr. Bhende was also honored with the Fellow of the Year award in 2010 at Ohio State University Medical Center at the completion of his vascular surgery fellowship. As a specialist in vascular surgery, Dr. Bhende is highly trained in the diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and conditions affecting the arteries and veins including peripheral artery disease, aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease and varicose veins. Dr. Bhende is focused on providing the best surgical options for his patients by offering a personalized treatment plan with the least traumatic, most minimally invasive procedures and state-of-the-art technology available. He then continues to work with his patients by developing a maintenance plan to ensure a maximum quality of health. Dr. Bhende is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Vascular Surgeons and the Society of Clinical Vascular Surgeons.
